A homegoing service for Reverend Malcolm Jeane will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. at Burr Ferry Pentecostal Church 23606 Hwy. 8 Leesville, LA with Brandon McKee and Reverends Eddie Tilley, Ronnie Perkins, and Kevin Cox officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Burr Ferry Pentecostal Church beginning at 3:00 p.m. and continuing until the time of service on Wednesday. Malcolm Jeane was born on February 15, 1927, to Wilburn and Lola Jeane and on January 22, 2017, he received his heavenly reward at the age of 89. Reverend Jeane became a Pentecostal minister when he was twenty-four years old. Throughout his sixty-six years of service, he was a spiritual father to many since he performed thousands of baptisms. Reverend Jeane ministered at Quick Sand Pentecostal Church in Newton, TX, Burr Ferry Pentecostal Church in Burr Ferry, LA, Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church, Leesville, LA, Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Leesville, LA, Fullerton Pentecostal Church in Fullerton, LA, The Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Merryville, LA, and Pine Island Pentecostal Church in Sandy Hill. Reverend Jeane also helped build Burr Ferry, Faith Tabernacle, and East Leesville Pentecostal churches. He received as sixty-year service award from the United Pentecostals. In addition to his service to God, Reverend Jeane retired from the State Highway Department after many years of employment. Reverend Jeane was preceded in death by wife of fifty-two years � Reba Faye Jeane, his parents � Wilburn and Lola Jeane, three brothers � Clyde, Jack, and Milford Jeane, and one sister � Jeanette White. He is survived by three sons � Ronald Jeane and wife Paulette of Shreveport, LA, James Jeane and wife Carol of Leesville, LA, and Dennis Jeane of Burr Ferry, LA One daughter � Beverly McKee and husband Greg of Pitkin, LA Brothers � Jerald Jeane of Leesville and Wilmer Lee �Bull� Jeane of Burr Ferry Sisters � Lillian McKee of Leesville, LA, Marie Kay and husband A.B. of Leesville, LA, Norma Lou Cryer and husband Ed of Merryville, LA, Faye West of Anacoco, LA, and Margie Pace and husband Dick of Waxahachie, TX Grandchildren � Chad Jeane of Shreveport, LA, Nicole Spikes and husband Jeffri of Shreveport, LA, Dustin Gilcrease and wife Angie of Leesville, LA, Nathan Gilcrease and wife Tasha of Leesville, LA, Darbee Ramsay and husband Dustin of Burr Ferry, LA, Brandon McKee and wife Courtney of Natchez, LA, Landon McKee and wife Megan of Pitkin, LA, and Chris McKee and wife Roslyn of Leesville, LA Great-grandchildren � Elijah, Isaac, and Camille Spikes; Brylee, Brody, Bryer, Audrey-Rose, and Max McKee; Ansley, Eli, Rayleigh, and Natalee Gilcrease; Toby Poe; Destiny Kay; and Bailey, Kelcie, and Emma Ramsey A host of nieces and nephews Pall bearers will be Chad Jeane, Jeffri Spikes, Dustin Gilcrease, Nathan Gilcrease, Dustin Ramsay, Brandon McKee, Landon McKee, and Chris McKee.
