<p>Rosilda E. (Parent) Welsh, 95, of Lincoln, died on Sunday, May 3, 2020, at the Lafayette Health Care Center in Franconia after a period of failing health.&nbsp; She was born in Lincoln, NH on June 29, 1924, to Amos and Eva (Bellerose) Parent.&nbsp;</p> <p>Rosie attended Lincoln / Woodstock public schools.&nbsp; She married James J. Welsh III on June 5, 1943, together they celebrated 34 years of marriage before his death in 1977.&nbsp; She worked as a homemaker and later at the Burndy Corp. for several years.&nbsp; She was a communicant at St. Joseph Catholic Church.&nbsp;</p> <p>Rosie is remembered for her green thumb.&nbsp; She grew and canned her own vegetables, tended a huge raspberry patch, and was very proud of her Roses.&nbsp; She loved to cook for her family and friends and was happiest when sitting at the table visiting and playing cards while enjoying a cup of coffee and homemade donuts and pie.</p> <p>Rosie is predeceased by her parents, her husband of 34 years, James Welsh III, a daughter, Lillian Messina, two brothers, Robert and Sylvio Parent, and one sister Florence LaPointe.&nbsp; She is survived by her son, James J. Welsh IV of Lincoln, a daughter Judith L. Cloutier and her husband Yvon of Belmont, NH, nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.</p> <p>Rosie will be interred beside her husband at the Woodstock Cemetery in Woodstock, NH in a private service with immediate family in attendance.&nbsp; Those who wish may make donations in memory of Rosilda Welsh to American Cancer Society, NH Chapter, 2 Commerce Dr. Suite 210, Bedford, NH 03110.</p>

Rosie attended Lincoln / Woodstock public schools.  She married James J.
