Bruce Chain Obituary

Bruce Chain, 66 of Cloverport passed away Sunday, January 29 at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville following a short illness. He was born in Daviess County on November 21, 1950 to the late Benjamin and Genevieve Whitehouse Chain. Bruce worked for 30 years at Domtar Paper Mill retiring as a Control Room Operator. He attended St. Rose Elementary and transferred to St. Romuald High School. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Vickie Hatfield. Leaving behind to mourn his passing, but celebrating the life that he lived is his son, Greg (Kayleigh) Chain of Cloverport; grandchildren, Dylan Chain and Brailyn Froehlich. A celebration of life for Bruce will be held 11:00 am, Friday, February 3 at Cloverport Funeral Chapel with Fr. Dan Kreutzer officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday at Cloverport Funeral Home.
