Inez Myrtle (Boatman) Whipple, 90, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 7:30 AM . Inez was born in Kentucky on April 21, 1926 to Lawrence and Grace (Mackey) Boatman. Inez is survived by her daughter, Pamela Cunningham of Indianapolis, IN; sons, Chester Reed (Carolyn) of Evansville, IN and Tim Whipple (fiance, Rhonda Wilson) of Evansville, IN; sisters, Lynn Proctor (Bill) of Delaware, KY and Fay Preble (Harry) of Dale City, VA; brothers, Lawrence Ray Boatman (Brenda) of Philpot, KY and Phillip "Butch" Dale Boatman of Owensboro, KY; grandchildren, Hannah Culver, Andrea McGrew and Chad Wilson; great-grandchildren, Ava McGrew and Skyler Wilson. Inez was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald William Whipple; brothers, W.T. Boatman and Raymond Boatman. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Browning Funeral Home, 738 E Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Jerry Hargett officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery . Friends may visit from 9:00 AM until service time at Browning Funeral Home.
