Owen “Gene” Gudahl, 87, of Cheyenne went to be with his Heavenly father on January 29th, 2017. He was born September 11, 1929 in Wheatland. Gene retired from the Postal Service and was a devoted member of North Christian Church, where he was a servant and an elder. Gene never knew a Stanger they were all friends. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing and time with his family. Playing Pinochle was a favorite past time especially when we were hunting. Gene is survived by his six children (one adopted), Debra Hruby, Bob (Diane) Gudahl, Kenny (Paula) Gudahl, Mike Gudahl, and Betty (Rod) Mielke and Lloyd (Bev) Gritton; three siblings, Don Gudahl, Andy Gudahl, and Alice Parriott; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Lou; parents, Oscar and Grace Gudahl; daughter, Pamela Louise Gudahl and four siblings, Robert, Victor, Richard Gudahl and Joyce Settell. Life commemoration services will be February 2nd (11:00am) at North Christian Church (2015 Tranquility Rd. Cheyenne WY.). Brother Pastor Andy Gudahl Officiating.
