Mark Robert Veltkamp, 57, of Newaygo, passed away on January 29, 2017 at home. He was born on June 13, 1959 to Robert and Carol (Lord) Veltkamp in Fremont, Michigan. He graduated Newaygo High School in 1978 and attended Grand Rapids Community College. Mark worked as a Manager for Rice Lake Farms Packing, LLC. Mark is survived by his parents, three brothers: Wayne (Robin) Veltkamp of Munising, Michigan, Clark (Ellen) Veltkamp of Windsor, ON, Ryan (Jana) Veltkamp of Grand Rapids; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017, 6:00 at the Grant Wesleyan Church, Grant, Michigan. Visitation will be held at the church from 5:00 pm until the service.
