William H. Jenkins Obituary

On the early morning of Sunday, January 22, 2017, our love one William Henry Jenkins peaceful entered into eternal peace with God. “Where there is No more pain No more suffering” after a long battle with cancer. William was born October 12, 1933 to the late Agnes Ward and W. H. Jenkins Sr. of Amelia, Virginia. He attended and graduated from the Amelia County Public School. Upon graduation he joined the United States Army. During his stay in the Military he became a licensed certified heavy equipment operator. He continued this work in the construction business until his retirement. He became a member of the Promise Land Baptist Church and served as an usher for many years. William later took the right hand of fellowship with Mount Olive Baptist Church where he would later become a member. To everyone, he was known as “Junior” with the love of his little Chihuahua dogs and his horses. Everyone always wanted to know if he had anymore little dogs.
