<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: times new roman;">Charlene L. Reintjes, 74, of Dugger, Indiana passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at Glenburn Nursing Home on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2015. She had fought brain cancer since September of last year. Charlene was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on November 6th, 1940 to Albert and Olive Olivia (Meyer) Havens. She married Wendell Reintjes on April 29th, 2003. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: times new roman;">Charlene was a member of the Dugger First Christian Church and Loyal Order of the Moose. She had owned and operated Sligar&rsquo;s Sporting Goods, worked as a seamstress, and at Wal-Mart and Linton Stockton Elementary Cafeteria. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: times new roman;">Survivors include: her husband, Wendell Reintjes of Dugger; two sons, Charles Fisher and Ty Sligar, both of Dugger; two daughters, Crystal (Terry) Land of Dugger and Renee&rsquo; Eichhorst (Opie Wall) of Linton; step-son, Pat (Penny) Stone of Vicksburg; step-daughter, Kerrie Stewart (Angie Sherrill); thirteen grandchildren, including Charity (Greg) Wilkes, Holly (Darren) Near and Ali Eichhorst; twelve great-grandchildren and one brother, Alfred Havens of Danville, IN.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: times new roman;">Charlene was preceded in death by: her parents; granddaughter, Tara Eichhorst; brother, James Havens and sister, Marilyn Hewitt.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: times new roman;">Funeral services are scheduled for 11:30 AM on Thursday, June 25th, 2015 at Anderson-Poindexter Dugger Chapel with Bro. Jerry Carmichael officiating. Charlene will be laid to rest in the Dugger Cemetery. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: times new roman;">Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:30 AM on Thursday, June 25th.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: times new roman;">The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Greene County Humane Society in Charlene&rsquo;s memory. Charlene L. Reintjes, 74, of Dugger, Indiana passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at Glenburn Nursing Home on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2015. She had fought brain cancer since September of last year. Charlene was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on November 6th, 1940 to Albert and Olive Olivia (Meyer) Havens. She married Wendell Reintjes on April 29th, 2003.

Charlene was a member of the Dugger First Christian Church and Loyal Order of the Moose. She had owned and operated Sligar’s Sporting Goods, worked as a seamstress, and at Wal-Mart and Linton Stockton Elementary Cafeteria.
