Barbara Jean Cunningham, 78, of Decatur departed this life on January 19, 2017 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Barbara was affectionately called " Barbie" by her family and friends. She was born on May 13,1938 in Cairo, Illinois the daughter of James Jackson and Mary (Wilkerson)Jackson. Barbara was educated in East St. Louis, Illinois School System. She moved to Decatur, Illinois in the early 1970's for California. She was a member of the Church of the Living God P.G.T. Temple #2 under theleadership of Bishop Thomas Cooper. She also attended other church in Decatur with family and friends. Barbara enjoyed singing, working puzzles, watching soap operas, movies and talking to her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her daughter,Trina Sims of Decatur; brother, Johnny (Rena) Jackson of Los Angeles, CA,sister, Carol Ann Wade of Lancaster, CA; grandchildren: Terry Finley and Danielle Burries; great grandchildren: Aikerion, Aimir, Ana'Staja, Tae' Lyn Finley and Na'Liyah Cooper; specialbrother-in-law, Rev. John Cunningham, special nephews, Jeffrey Cunningham andWilliam Lee Cunningham, god daughter, Pamela Martin, special friends, Missionary Savannah Jones, Sis. Donna Ratliff and Sis. Elnora West.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents,siblings: Otis, Willie, Earl and O.D. Jackson, Essie Ross, Marcellean Cunningham, Theresa Jackson, Odessa Jackson, Earline Moses.
