Robert C. Fischer age 84 of Ft. Wayne, IN formerly of Hammond passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017. He is survived by loving sons Daniel (Tina) Fischer of Ft. Wayne and Kenneth (Kelly) Fischer of Michigan, eight loving grandchildren. Preceded by loving wife Marijeanne two brothers and one sister. Robert was formerly a member of St. Joseph Holy Name Society, was an employee of St. Joseph Church for 11 years. Robert Graduated from Hammond High School and one year at Indiana University. Mass of Christian burial at St. Joseph Church in Hammond, IN on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Richard Orlinski celebrating the mass. Visitation at the church from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. He will be dearly missed by his loving family. Burns-Kish Funeral Home in Hammond, IN in charge of arrangements.
