Catherine Mamie Phillips
Catherine Mamie Phillips, 90, of Monroe passed away December 11, 2015. Mrs. Phillips was a member of Columbia Presbyterian Church in Decatur. She was preceded in death by her husband Claude Elmer Phillips. She is survived by her sons Gary Phillips and wife Barbara of Peachtree City, Steve Phillips and wife Gladys of Loganville, and Frank Phillips and wife Normalene of Lilburn; seven grandchildren; twelve greatgranchildren; one great-greatgranchild; brother Lee Lance and wife Sue of Statem; and sister Faye Edney of Hendersonville, NC. A funeral service will be held Monday, December 14, 2015 at 11:30 AM in the Chapel of Carl J Mowell & Son Funeral Home in Peachtree City. Reverend Bobby Carpenter will officiate. Interment will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
