Goldien Kretschmer

Goldien Kretschmer, 96, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the home of her son, Marvin, in Sacramento, California. She was born January 4, 1921 in the township of Mayville, Wisconsin to the late Charles and Bertha Fink. She was the youngest of eleven children. Goldien and her late husband, Carl, lived in Troy Center, Wisconsin for most of their married life. It was there they raised their family of five children. Goldien is preceded in death by her parents, all ten of her siblings, husband Carl Kretschmer, daughter Nancy Busch, and daughter-in-law June Kretschmer. She will be greatly missed by sons, Marvin, Gary (Gloria), Douglas (Connie), daughter Marilyn (James) Wienke, son-in-law Joe Busch, 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in East Troy on Monday, January 23. Services will be conducted at the church at 12:30.
