Eladio V. Ortiz, age 52 of Reeder’s passed away on January 15, 2017 at St. Luke’s – Monroe Campus in Stroudsburg. Eladio was the loving husband of Arlene (Torres) Ortiz. They celebrated their 33rd Wedding Anniversary on November 30. He was born in New York City, NY on April 17, 1964 son of Gloria (Valentin) Ortiz of New York City, NY and the late Arsenio Ortiz. Eladio had worked for 3 J’s Trucking in Bronx, NY for over 30 years. He was a member of the Life Church in Long Pond. We have been blessed with the presence of Eladio in our lives. He will be deeply missed by his wife Arlene (Torres) Ortiz at home; his mother Gloria (Valentin) Ortiz of NYC, NY; his children: Eddie Ortiz and his wife Jennifer of Mt. Pocono; Christopher Ortiz of Lake Ariel; Jazmyne Ortiz and Jocelyn Torres both of Reeders. He was the loving grandfather to his three grandchildren: Jordan and Gavin Ortiz of Lake Ariel and Emma Ortiz of Mt. Pocono. He is also survived by his brothers: Milton, Billy, Henry, Jessie Ortiz and sisters: Leticia, Guillata, Michelle, Laury and Yamilette Ortiz and many nieces & nephews. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 am, Saturday, January 21st at Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Route 209, Gilbert with Pastor Rick Estrella officiating. Family and friends are welcome to offer condolences on Friday, January 20th from 3 - 5 pm and 6 - 9 pm at Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Rt. 209, Gilbert.
