Obituary

Ray Daniel Feuerborn, 63, of Cedarville, died Sunday January 15, 2017 at U.W. Hospital in Madison. Ray was born April 20, 1953 the son of Raymond E. and Georgette M. (Bosse) Feuerborn. On May 30, 1987 Ray married Susan Watts in Las Vegas, NV. Ray worked as a truck driver and warehouse foreman for 42 years at O’Mara Moving. Ray was a sincere, dedicated man of his word, a very truthful, hard working man. He was very family oriented but you didn’t necessarily have to be blood to be his family. Some of the friendships he had were valued as much as family and held strong through many years. Not only did he demand respect and earn it, but he taught it through his own actions. Many people he impacted by his daily routine alone. He has made an impact on many lives, some he will never even know. He was “a legend walking in cowboy boots” to those that knew him. He not only loved music, he lived music, and even used it to speak for him, but rap is crap. Everything had its place, and was in its place. Ray was a Ford man who loved his truck dearly, I think you could eat off of the floor mats. He was a fan of football, Chicago Bears and Kansas City Chiefs. He was a fan of Nascar and Basketball, Rock Chalk Jay Hawk, and of course, the Bulls. Not too big of a baseball fan but was absolutely thrilled to get to see the Cubs win the World Series. He was a incredible man who has left behind a great legacy. Surviving are Ray’s wife Susan; two daughters Dezirae Zook and Staci Feuerborn; two bothers Dave (Charity) Sullivan and Hubert Feuerborn; two sisters including his twin Raylene (Feuerborn) Carter and Joni (Mark) Mitchell; and grandchildren Hailey Zook, Hannah and Hayden Barrett, Autumn and Haiz Feuerborn. Ray is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 20, 2017 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral with Rev. Bill Blomberg officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 P.M. Thursday January 19, 2017 also at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Please visit and sign Ray’s guestbook at www.burketubbs.com.
