Harold Daleske, age 78, of Hubbard, IA, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Valley View Specialty Care in Eldora, IA. Harold Bert Daleske was born on December 31, 1938 to Berthold A. and Helen A. (Balvanz) Daleske in Eldora, Iowa. He was baptized and confirmed at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hubbard. Harold received his education at the Meeker School and attended Hubbard High School. On January 15, 1966, he was united in marriage to JeMae Karen Sampson at the Zion Lutheran Church in rural Radcliffe. Harold and JeMae lived in Eldora for nine years where he worked as a warehouse laborer for Ramco, later known as Dayco. Harold and JeMae then moved to the family farm in Hubbard when Bert and Helen retired from farming the summer of 1975. Harold farmed with his dad and brother, Max, until he retired in 1994. Harold was a lifelong member of the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church and an Honorary member of the American Legion in Eldora. Harold passed away January 15, 2017 at the Valley View Specialty Care in Eldora. Harold is survived by his wife JeMae of Hubbard; his daughter Donna and her husband Lyle Bishop of Hubbard and his son Danon and his wife Michelle Daleske of Radlciffe; seven grandchildren Lyle and his wife Jessica Bishop, Eric and his wife Alicia Bishop, Jacob Bishop, Brian Bishop, Morgan, Kolton and JosieMae Daleske; brother Max Daleske of Eldora; along with other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Bert and Helen Daleske.
