David "Cat Fish" Wayne Kennedy

David Wayne "Cat Fish" Kennedy, 39, of Pitts died unexpectedly Sunday, January 15, 2017 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 19, 2017 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services. The family will receive friends prior to the service Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m. David was born in Cordele and was the son of Larry Wayne Kennedy and Elizabeth Elaine Kennedy. He was a farmer. An avid hunter and fisherman, he was a collector of miniature John Deere tractors and also enjoyed searching for and collecting arrowheads. He is survived by his wife, Samantha Kennedy of Pitts; a daughter, Kylea Crawford of Lake City, FL; his mother, Elizabeth Elaine Kennedy of Pitts; a brother, Steven Kennedy of Pitts; and two sisters, Tammie Peacock and Ashley Kennedy, both of Pitts. David was preceded in death by his father, Larry Wayne Kennedy and two brothers, Richard Kennedy and Jessie Kennedy.
