Funeral Services for Mr. Carl Edsel Kennedy, age 81, of Dallas, Georgia will be held Friday, January 20, 2017, 2:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Paul Hebert and Mr. Mike Pope officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Kennedy will be Thursday, January 19, 2017, 3:00-8:00 P.M. and Friday, January 20, 2017, 12:00 - 2:00 P.M at Benson Funeral Home. Mr. Kennedy worked in the construction business making cabinets. Mr. Kennedy is survived by: Wife, Mrs. Mary Kennedy Daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Mike (Deborah) Pope Daughter, Mrs. Brenda Hunter Son, Mr. Michael Kennedy Son, Mr. Jamey Kennedy Grandchildren, Johsua and Makelia Pope, April and Robbie Burr, Matt and Niki Pope, Billie Sue McCurtain, Jackie and John Gorman, Daniel Kennedy, Jonathan Kennedy and Cody Kennedy. 10 Great Grandchildren Mr. Kennedy was preceded in death by: Son, David Kennedy Grandson, Mr. Carl Kennedy Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Nelson (Katie Lee Atcheson) Kennedy Son in Law, Mr. Ronnie Hunter The family request in lieu of flowers, dontations to be made toward funeral expenses.
