Norma J. Hubbartt

<p>Norma J. Hubbartt, 92, of Taylorville passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 4:30 a.m. at Taylorville Care Center in Taylorville. She was born on November 18, 1924 in rural Morrisonville, IL the Daughter of Lloyd E. and Fern (Milslagle) Harmon. She married Russell C. Hubbartt Jr. on August 17, 1946 in Henderson, Kentucky; and he preceded her in death on January 10, 2009. She worked as a homemaker and she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Taylorville, D.A.R. and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was known as &ldquo;Hollywood&rdquo; by her friends at Hickory Estates and Taylorville Care Center.</p> <p>Surviving are her Sons: Steve (Carol) Hubbartt of Chatham, IL, and; Greg (Pat) Hubbartt of Murrayville, IL; Daughter: Julie (Dennis) Braeuninger of Pawnee, IL; Nine Grandchildren; Nineteen Great-Grandchildren; Sisters: Ruth Garrett, Bertha Hill, and Donna (Gene) Peters all of Taylorville, IL; Brothers: Elmer Harmon of Taylorville, IL, and Chuck (Gloria) Harmon of Dayton, OH; Brother-in-Law: Mac McShanog of Champaign, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband; Brothers: Russell, John, Lyle, and Wilbur Harmon; Sister: Marilyn McShanog; Great-Grandson: Jaxson Murphy, Son-in-Law: Bob Murphy, Brothers-in-Law: Nira Hill, &nbsp;and Bernie Garrett; and Sister-in-Law: Jody Harmon.</p> <p>Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Taylorville. The funeral service will follow the visitation starting at 3:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Taylorville with Pastor Michael Evanchek officiating. Burial will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.</p> <p>Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church 116 E. Franklin St. Taylorville, IL 62568 or the ; American Diabetes Association 425 S. Woods Mill Rd, Suite 110, Town and Country, MO 63017 or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 7730 Carondelet Suite 135 St. Louis, MO 63105 or to to the Autism Association 4340 East-West Hwy, Suite 350 Bethesda, Maryland 20814.</p> <p>Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is assisting the family with arrangements.</p>
