Darrell Lee Wright

EFLAND: Darrell Lee Wright, 78, woke up in Heaven on Friday, April 15, 2016. He was born in Randolph County, the son of the late Carl Lee Wright and Mabel VonCannon Wright. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters. Mr. Wright is survived by his son, Mike A. Wright and wife Jerri of Graham; daughters, Janet W. Price and husband Billy of Hillsborough, Vicki W. Evans and husband Mark of Efland, Sandra W. Brassard and husband John of Oxford, Pam W. Sykes and husband David of Hillsborough, Debbie W. Sykes and husband Alvin of Hillsborough; brothers, Gene Wright and wife Coralie of Pennsylvania, William Wright and wife Janice of Asheboro, and James Wright and wife Elaine of Supply; 13 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 18th at Gospel Baptist Tabernacle Church at 2646 Orange Grove Rd. Hillsborough, NC 27278. Burial will follow in church cemetery. Pall bearers include Johnny Edwards, Mark Evans, John Brassard, Robert Ezell, Justin Sykes, Adam Sykes, Billy Price, and Alton Smith. Honorary pall bearer includes Payton Wright. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. and following the services in the fellowship hall.
