<p>James Edward &ldquo;Ed&rdquo; Figurski</p> <p>James Edward &ldquo;Ed&rdquo; Figurski, age 86, of Adena, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.</p> <p>Ed was born on April 8, 1932, in Adena, son of the late Julia and John Figurski. He was a loving husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather and great-grandfather.</p> <p>In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his sister, Genevieve Black and brother John Figurski.</p> <p>Ed served in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Casmir Catholic Church where he served as an usher. He was a Charter Member of the K of C Council 4437 and a Member of the Rural Letter Carrier Association where he served as the Rural Mail Carrier in Adena for 33 years.&nbsp; Ed was a lifelong Cleveland Browns and Indians Fan.&nbsp; He was a TV addict. He enjoyed sports and game shows.</p> <p>Ed&rsquo;s first love was always his family and his wife Frances Sliva Figurski who he joined in marriage on April 11, 1959.&nbsp;&nbsp; Surviving in addition to is his loving wife of 59 years, Frances, are two sons, Jim (Lori) of Adena: Greg (Tara) of Gahanna; five grandchildren Chad (Shonna) of Steubenville; Courtney of Adena; Maya, Abigail, Kyle of Gahanna and one great-grandson Luca Jack of Steubenville; three brothers Robert (Ruth) of Bedford Heights, Oh; Gerald (Melody) of Clearwater, Fl. and Ronald of Adena.</p> <p>Family and friends are invited to share their memories of Ed during visitation at Borkoski Funeral Home, Adena on Sunday, March 24 from 4 to 8 p.m.&nbsp; Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Casimir Catholic Church by Monsignor Kolesar, Monday, March 25 at 11 a.m. followed by a military burial at Holly Memorial Gardens.</p> <p>Donations can be made to the Adena Legion, Post 525 or St. Casimir Catholic Church.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

James Edward “Ed” Figurski

James Edward “Ed” Figurski, age 86, of Adena, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.

Ed was born on April 8, 1932, in Adena, son of the late Julia and John Figurski. He was a loving husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather and great-grandfather.
