<p>Daniel C. Bednarski, 75, of Adena, OH, passed away, Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at Trinity West Hospital.</p> <p>He was born on May 26, 1943, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Stanley and Sophie (Raymer) Bednarski.</p> <p>In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Bednarski.</p> <p>Dan was retired from Weirton Steel. He served in the United States Air Force and was a member of The Adena American Legion, Post 525. &nbsp;Dan was Catholic by faith and was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church. He loved to golf and spend time at Wheeling Downs.</p> <p>Surviving are his beloved wife, Susan (Gasber) Bednarski; his daughter, Holly Bednarski; a sister, Carol (John) George; a sister-in-law, Shirley Bednarski; a brother-in-law, Ron (Carol) Gasber and several nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Funeral arrangements were entrusted with Borkoski Funeral Home, Adena, OH and conducted at St. Casimir Catholic Church, Adena, OH, on Friday, May 17, 2019, at 11am with Monsignor John Kolesar as celebrant.</p> <p>The family would like to give a special thanks to Valley Hospice, Nicole Blake and Renee&rsquo; Fithen for their compassionate care for Dan.</p> <p>Donations may be made to Valley Hospice, The Adena American Legion, or St. Casimir Church, in Dan&rsquo;s name.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Daniel C. Bednarski, 75, of Adena, OH, passed away, Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at Trinity West Hospital.

He was born on May 26, 1943, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Stanley and Sophie (Raymer) Bednarski.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Bednarski.

Dan was retired from Weirton Steel. He served in the United States Air Force and was a member of The Adena American Legion, Post 525.  Dan was Catholic by faith and was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church. He loved to golf and spend time at Wheeling Downs.
