Wilda Louise Prater

Wilda Louise Prater, 90 of Fillmore passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 8:20 p.m. at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation in Taylor Springs, IL. She was born on August 3, 1928 in Decatur, IL the daughter of W. Lawrence and Esther M. (Bauer) Walker. She married Norval L. Prater on August 10, 1946 in Fillmore, IL and he preceded her in death on December 19, 2002. Wilda provided tax service for the community for over 55 years and she attended the Fillmore Baptist Church for over 60 years.

She is survived by her Sons: David A. Prater of Fillmore, IL; Dale C. (Paula) Prater of Fillmore, IL; Daughters: Donna (Dale) Kibler of Maroa, IL; Dana L. (Steve) Reincke of Nokomis, IL; Grandchildren: Nathan (Joy) Prater of Greenville, IL, Vince (Heather) Reincke of Hillsboro, IL; Jeff (Jennifer) Kibler of El Paso, IL; Amy (Matt) Stolte of Nokomis, IL; Craig (Rochelle) Reincke of Petersburg, IL; Jennifer (Patrick) Rose of Decatur, IL; Fifteen Great-Grandchildren; Brother: William E. (Shirley) Walker of Decatur, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Allen & Sutton Funeral Home in Fillmore, IL. Funeral service will start immediately following the visitation at 3:00 p.m. at Allen & Sutton Funeral Home in Fillmore, IL with Jeff Kibler officiating. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Fillmore, IL.
