Hollister- Mitchell Vernell Silver, 61, died on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Halifax County, NC to the late Henry Mitchell and Quincey Richardson Mitchell. She was a teacher and a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. Rev. Willie Silver will conduct funeral services at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 20th at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Richardson Memorial Garden. She is survived by her fiancée, Tony Mills; her children, Robbie Mitchell and wife, Delreesa, Christopher Silver, Gary Shawn Richardson amd Tiffany Ausby and husband, Patrick; her sisters, Dorothy Lynch and husband, Herman, and Linda Richardson and husband, George; ten grandchildren, and numerous other extended family members. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 pm on Thursday, January 19th at Blaylock Funeral Home in Littleton.
