Harold Andrew Engman Innisfail, Alberta Obituary

Harold Andrew Engman

Mr. Harold Andrew Engman, known to all as ‘Andy’ was born on October 14, 1962 in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, and passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at the age of 57 years. Although Andy started his life in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, his family moved to Central Alberta in 1966, where Andy spent most of the rest of his life. Andy met the love of his life, Roselie Moore and they married on July 2, 1983, settling in the Innisfail area. They proceeded to have four children, Lacey, Clenton, Mason and Trevor; and then two grandchildren, Paige and Dixon, all of whom Andy and Roselie were very proud of. In his younger years, Andy took a Butcher's Course at Olds College, where he graduated Top of his Class. His love of the art of cutting meat lasted the rest of his lifetime. Andy's last career move was at Johns Manville in Innisfail, where he made many lifelong friendships with his coworkers. Catering was also a very important aspect in Andy’s life, catering alongside of his wife Rose and sister in law, Val Domoney. He was a loving family man, with a massive amount of character, finding humour around every corner. He was very social and worked as hard as he played. He enjoyed helping others - never letting hard times get him down. He lived life to the fullest and was always there to lend a hand, when needed. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Andy is survived by his loving wife of thirty-seven years, Roselie Engman, his grown children, Lacey Engman of Penhold, Clenton (Alisa) Engman and their children, Paige and Dixon of Innisfail, Mason Engman of Bowden and Trevor Engman of Penhold. He will also be sadly missed by his brothers, Neil (Terri-Lee) Engman of Red Deer and Shane (Emma) Engman of Bowden; as well as his in laws, Charles and Janice Moore and his sister in law, Val Domoney. He will lovingly remembered by the Moore family, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Andy was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Lorraine Engman and his sister, Bonnie Engman. A Celebration of Andy’s Life will be held at a later date. If desired, Memorial Donations in Andy's honour may be made directly to a charity of the donor’s choice. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.heartlandfuneralservices.com.

Rose and family, I knew Andy from JM. He was a fun loving man who was quick to coach others along. I will always remember him with a smile and for his laugh that made everyone want to laugh as well.
