Andrew Kafafian, of Moonachie, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 22,2020 of natural causes at the age of 68 years. "Hood" as he was known was the stage manager for Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes for over 40 years. Loving father of Michael Kafafian. Cherished companion of Karen West. Adoring son of the late Sophie (nee Sheshedian) and Harry Kafafian. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (nee Spanopoulos). Dearest brother of Debra Soojian and her husband Alan and the late Virginia Burghardt. Caring uncle of Sarah Knaak, Paul Burghardt and Christopher Burghardt, James Soojian and Marc Soojian, Steven Spanopoulos and the late Anthony Spanopoulos. Cremation is private. A memorial celebration of his life will be held at a later time.August 23, 1951 - April 22, 202008/23/195104/22/2020

Always fun to see Hood at a Jukes show. We loved when he played piano on Broke Down Piece of Man. Also a hard worker so all went well and the fans enjoyed the show.
