Phyllis B. Copeland
Phyllis Beverly Copeland, 76 of Wardensville, WV, beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2020, at her home surrounded by her family. Phyllis was born October 9th, 1943 in Star Tannery, VA to Mae and Homer Orndorff. She worked as a seamstress and was a loving homemaker. Phyllis loved traveling with her family and attending Bingo at Round Hill with her special friends. Phyllis married the late Harry Rollings Copeland on February 22, 1958. She is survived by four daughters: Monty Copeland, Jody Copeland, Tammy Copeland, and Kelly Orndorff, one son: Aiden Funk, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three sisters, and two brothers. She was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters. A private interment will be held at Hickory Hill Cemetery near Wardensville, WV. A celebration of Phyllis’s life will be held at a later date.
