Lester Philip Goodall, 81, of Quincy, IL, formerly of Loveland, CO, passed away at 12:51 PM Sunday, April 19, 2020, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy. A private burial will be held at Floral Hills Cemetery in Kansas City, MO. The family is being served by the O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home in Quincy, IL. Lester was born February 15, 1939, in Kansas City, MO to Lester W. and Bessie Collier Goodall. Lester is survived by one adopted son, Aaron Quin (Kelly) of Brighton, CO; two brothers, Bill Goodall (Janis) of Kansas City, MO and Harold Goodall (Susan) of Manchester, MO; one sister, Tessie Haner (Carl) of Quincy, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Lester is preceded in death by his parents and his uncle and aunt, Harold and Carmen Oram. Lester proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. Professionally, Lester was a computer programmer for Hewlett Packard for many years. Lester had an appreciation for nature and loved hiking in the mountains, especially in Estes Park, CO. He also enjoyed science, computers, and collecting modern art paintings. Memorial contributions may be made to Bradford Villa in Quincy, IL.Obituary
