Rose Feldman Obituary

The family writes -- Rose Feldman, 98, passed away peacefully at home on March 31, 2020. Daughter of David and Anna Landwirth (nee Immerglick). Rose married Dr. Bernard Feldman DDS in 1947 and had three children, Barbara, Elliot and Paul and a daughter in law, Perri. She grew up in West Orange, NJ, lived in Union and was a resident of Livingston for over 50 years. Rose and her husband Bernard spent many winters at Gleneagles Country Club in Delray Beach, Florida. Predeceased by her husband Dr. Bernard Feldman, she is survived by her three children and grandchildren, Dr. Michelle Feldman and Dr. Daniel Feldman. Rose was happiest playing her violin, beginning at age 8 and playing a final concert at age 97. She played in the Metropolitan Orchestra of NJ, formerly the “Y” Chamber Orchestra, for 48 years. In addition she successfully ran the orchestra for several years. Rose also worked for the League of Women Voters, Jewish Federation and in the dental office of her husband and son, Drs. Bernard & Paul Feldman. She was a member of Temple B’nai Jeshurun in Short Hills. Rose loved to cook, was an avid bridge player and loved her dogs. Rose always put her family first and will be greatly missed. Services were held April 1st at B’nai Abraham Memorial Park Memorial contributions may be made to the Metropolitan Orchestra of NJ, P.O.
