Addie Anderson was born on February 15th, 1933 in Eufala, Alabama to her parents, the late Ed and Mamie Anderson. Addie was raised and educated in Alabama. As an adult she made Newark, New Jersey her home. Addie was a good Christian woman and a member of the Baptist Church. Addie made a career of being a Domestic Worker. She worked in the Housekeeping Department for Hilton Hotels. Addie was a very good woman and a loving one. She was a good mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family. She was funny and kind, but definitely stern when she needed to be. Addie departed this life on April 5th, 2020 at University Hospital of Newark, New Jersey. She will be truly missed by her family and friends. Addie leaves behind to cherish her memories: her four children, Lillie Passmore, Patricia Graham, Joe Anderson and Shiwanda Anderson; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; her remaining siblings, Ella Hunter, Mae Frances Anderson and Milton Anderson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
