Brian Keith Czach May 23, 1966 - April 10, 2020 Brian Keith Czach passed peacefully into the arms of God the Father on Good Friday after a valiant, 2-and-a-half-year battle with Leukemia. Brian was a devoted husband and loving father of 7 children. A man of deep Faith and prayer, Brian carried the heavy cross of Leukemia with a joyful heart- never complaining during his many sufferings and extended hospitalizations. Brian delivered a cheerful smile and gave hope and meaning to the work of his wonderful doctors and nurses. (We take this brief moment to thank each of them for their kindness and dedication in caring for Brian.) Brian was born on May 23, 1966 in Redford, Michigan to parents, Shirley and Timothy Czach. They instilled the True Faith in Brian and his beloved sister, Cindy (Husk). This unwavering Faith nurtured and sustained Brian throughout his beautiful life. Brian received a college football scholarship and earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Biomechanical Engineering from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He truly enjoyed his career designing airbag safety systems at Autoliv. Brian married the love of his life, Cynthia (Zammit) Czach on October 25, 1997. Cynthia and Brian were married for 22 years and together raised their children: Luke, Stephen, Nathan, Aaron, Celina, Benjamin, and Jason in the joys of the Catholic Faith. Brian loved sharing quality time with his children and bringing them up in the Faith; It was especially difficult for him not to be able to physically attend Benji's First Communion and Nathan's Confirmation. Brian cherished cooking Saturday morning breakfasts of pancakes and sausages, family vacations, and praying the daily family rosary. Brian's creativity was evident in his loving, handmade greeting cards. He also enjoyed playing hockey and football with his children as well as instructing them regarding the mechanics of all things- but cars in particular. Not surprisingly, Brian's children won multiple Pinewood Derby contests (one of the perks of having an Engineer for a Father). Remote control cars and planes were Christmas morning staples. Brian was also devoted to the service of others and sponsored education for a child in Israel. He spent time in the Virgin Islands mentoring and catechizing students for Confirmation. Brian was a well-loved and admired roller hockey coach at Joe Dumars Fieldhouse. Brian was a true warrior in his health battle - he did not depart this life without a putting up a good fight. Brian received many miraculous recoveries along the way before finally accepting God's invitation to join Him in Heaven's Banquet. Brian's great suffering was not in vain - it brought forth many lasting fruits. Brian willingly shared a tiny sliver of Christ's Cross for the conversion of souls - culminating in a glorious victory on Good Friday! Brian is survived by his loving: Wife, 6 Sons, Daughter, Mother, Father, Sister, Brother-in-Law (Paul Husk), Uncles (Conrad Czach, Reginald Czach), Aunt (Patricia Czach), Nephew (Brad Husk), and Cousins (Mike Czach, Dan Czach, Glenn Czach, and Lynn Czach). A memorial Mass will be held at a future date TBD at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
