Steve was a "car guy" from the very beginning. He had a talent for fixing things and working with his hands. He had all the "cool" cars. He wanted to be a pilot. He was a fuel delivery driver, a heavy equipment operator (mostly the giant cranes), and a good mechanic. He also liked technology and computers and had all the gadgets.
He was a camper, a fisherman, and liked to spend time outside mostly exploring the desert.
He had a belief that if you were 15 minutes early you were on time, and if you were on time, then you were late. He believed in education.
He always had a dog, and dogs were always drawn to him.
He served in the Navy during Vietnam but did not see any combat.
He is survived by his son, Steven (Annette) and daughter, Sandie (Bob) his grandchildren Damien (Dana)and Vanessa and his great grandson, Mordecai. He is preceded by his parents, Oran (Retha), and his brother Danny.
Thank you for your service, your knowledge, and your time.
We will miss you. We love you.
