Kevin J. Rustman, 49, of Pontiac, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020, at 11:02 a.m. at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Kevin was born June 13, 1970, in Chicago, IL to Claus J. and Janet L. (Itter) Rustman. Janet survives in Pontiac, IL. He married Brenda K. Kiser on June 14, 2008. She survives in Pontiac, IL. Also surviving are his children, Jennifer L. Hall of Pontiac, IL, Josh J. (Sammy) Hall of Pontiac, IL, and Joe B. (Kristin) Hall of Pontiac, IL; grandchildren, Jayla K. Hall, Brooke C. Hall, Claire E. Hall, and Elaina M. Hall; sisters, Roberta “Bert” L. Rustman of Pontiac, IL and Jackie J. Rustman of Pontiac, IL; niece, Kenna Rustman; and his Golden Retriever girls, Zoey, Charlie, and Ellie. He was preceded in death by his father; mother-in-law, Dorothy Kiser; and nephew, Kyle Warwick. Kevin was a graduate of Pontiac Township High School, Class of 1988. He worked for Caterpillar in Pontiac, IL. Kevin was an absolute family man. He was a friend to anyone he met. He enjoyed spending time grilling out in the summertime. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. He was a member of the of the Pontiac Sportsman’s Club and loved to fish and hunt. His wife, kids, granddaughters, mom, sisters, niece, and goldens were his whole world. His absence will forever leave a hole in the hearts of all who loved him. Memorials may be made to the family.
