Funeral Services for Orville Dean Schapansky are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clinton, with Father Balaswamy Mandagiri officiating and under the direction of Kiesau_Lee Funeral Home. Orville Schapansky was born May 1, 1941 to Ernest (Jim) and Esther (Brehm) Schapansky on a farm near Weatherford, OK. He passed from this earth on March 28, 2020. Orville was a diesel mechanic working for Winden Equipment and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation from which he retired. In his younger years Orville was active in the community working with Boy Scouts and active in his church. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling and visiting with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Toni Schapansky, son, DeWayne Schapansky and Sandy of Enid, OK, daughter, Sheri Cooper and Dennis of Tulsa, OK, daughter, Lynne Chastain of Custer City, OK, daughter, Mary Sammelmann and Kam of St. Peters, MO, daughter, Leslie Houchin of Redmond, WA, son, Bob Chastain of Tulsa, OK;. Brother, Leroy Allen Schapansky and Karla of Breckenridge, CO, sisters, Barbara McDonald of Bonham, TX and Linda Crow of Elk City, OK; grandchildren Kayla, Casey, Darci, Avery, Lisa, Charlie, Jeremy and 8 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Clinton, OK, or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date due to the COVID19 (Corona virus).
