Khoi Xuan Le

It is with deep sadness we share the untimely passing of Khoi Xuan Le, 69, on March 20, 2020 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. He was a resilient individual that recovered almost fully from a heart attack and stroke 10 months prior, but this second heart attack took him from us far too soon. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Anh Luong, and son, David Le. He is also survived by his mother, Dinh Nguyen, many siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews across the world. He is also preceded in death by his father, Thanh Le. Khoi was born in Saigon, Vietnam and immigrated to the United States in 1979. He was a proud Navy vet who fought in the war alongside American’s. He was a resident of Falls Church, Virginia since moving to the States. Khoi had a very hard work ethic, with 37 years as a Printing Specialist with Tyler Business Services, until retiring in November 2017. Khoi was a kind spirit that saw every friend as family. He had a contagious smile, was selfless, and a personality that brought laughter to any room. He loved his family, always helpful to others, could fix anything, had a green thumb, and treasured his koi fishpond. The family had a small private service due to COVID 19. He always worried about everyone else’s well-being, and at this time would want everyone to stay home, be safe, and take care of themselves and their loved ones. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at INOVA Fairfax Hospital Cardiac and Neuro ICU departments, nurses and doctors at Virginia Hospital Center and Kaiser Permanente, the staff and therapists at Woodbine Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, and to all his family and friends that helped him make such a miraculous recovery over the past 10 months, giving all of us more time with such an amazing man. He was so grateful for his time with us and in his final moments said “Anh không sao đâu, đưng lo,” he wanted us to all know “I’ll be okay, don’t worry.”
