William "Bill" Kolasa, age 79, a resident of St. Clair Shores, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at his home. Bill was born October 24, 1940 in Hamtramck to William and Genevieve. Bill graduated from Eastern High School and went on to obtain his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Windsor and taught electrical engineering at Lawrence Tech University from 1987 to 2018. He loved spending time with his family and also tinkering with electronics. Problem solving was a great joy of his. He always loved finding solutions to problems. Beloved husband of Mary Eileen. Loving father of William, Timothy (Michelle), and Lorraine (Ajit). Dear brother of Art (Helen "Pat") and Camille "Cookie" (David). Dear friend of Pete Keefe.
