A. Pauline Kreeger Obituary

Audrey Pauline Kreeger went home to her Lord and Savior on March 28, 2020 at the age of 90.  Pauline, as she was known to all, lived a long and full life, and was a true people person.  No matter where she went, she had someone wanting to talk with her, and was remembered by many for her wonderful, contagious laugh.  She was born and raised on her family farm in Lakeview.  She left the farm after graduation from high school and moved to Greenville, where she met and married her husband, Art Kreeger.  They were married on February 4th, 1951 at her family home in Lakeview.  They shared 52 years of marriage.  Pauline was a member of Turk Lake United Methodist Church where she was in charge of the coffee service and hospitality on Sundays for many years.  She was a long time employee of Meijer and also the Dairy Queen in Greenville.  Pauline loved her Detroit Tigers as well as the Detroit Pistons.  She loved to sing along to the old gospel hymns and old country songs.  Pauline is survived by her daughter, Starr (Ken) Mangold of Perkinston, MS; four grandchildren, Sabrina (Jeremy) Wallington of Temperance, MI, Sara (Jamey) Smith of Sturgis, MI, Paul (Jess) Holbrook of Greeneville, TN, and Kenny Mangold of Denison TX; a special niece, Sharon Hurst of Gowen, who was like a daughter to Pauline; and 13 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Art Kreeger; brothers, Wes and Billy Warren; sister, Nila Johnson; and parents, Paul and Josie Warren.  Memorial services will be delayed, with a date and time to be announced in the near future.
