Nathan Shapiro, 92, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020. Born in New York he lived in Bayonne, Staten Island and then Pennsylvania for 30 years before moving to Toms River, NJ. He proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Army and made a career as a tour bus driver, driving bands and vacationers to destinations across the country. He entertained all the children with his impressive impression of Donald Duck. He loved to sing, especially “April Showers”. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Madeline, children Jay Shapiro, Jeffrey Lazarus, Barry Shapiro, Elissa Paul and Monica Roccafote, step children Paul Morris, Wayne Morris, and Debra Gioia, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. There will be a service when there is no longer a need for social distancing. Arrangements are private and entrusted to the care of the Timothy E.
