Charles Bing, Jr., 92, of Monroe Township, NJ passed away on March 20, 2020 at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center, Plainsboro, NJ. Charles was born in Pittsfield, MA and resided in Pittsfield, MA; Guangzhou, China; Brooklyn, NY; Park Ridge, NJ; Ramsey, NJ; Monroe Township, NJ. He worked as an Engineer for Hazeltine Corp.; a Facilities Engineer for ITT World Communications; and a Project Engineer for World Comm from 1962-1990. He graduated from Erasmus Hall Evening High School in 1953 and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Hofstra University 1965. He served in the United States Army as a PFC (Linguist) and was on active duty from 1951-1953 and in Army Reserve from 1953-1957. His hobbies included cooking, tennis, and financial markets. Predeceased by his parents Charles Bing Sr. and Lum Shee; he is survived by his daughters Elizabeth Bing-von Autenried and Jennifer Bing; son-in-law Paul von Autenried; grandsons Paul Jr., Christopher and Kurt; and his sister Jade Chin. Cremation will be private, with a celebration of his life to be announced at a later date.
