At Wingham & District Hospital on Wednesday, March 25th, 2020, Doris Caesar of Wingham and formerly of Teeswater, passed away peacefully at the age of 83. Cherished mom of Randy & Maureen Scott of Wroxeter, Christine & Ian Inglis of Belmore, Pat & Dan Campbell of Wingham and Vickie & Barry Petteplace of Teeswater. Loving grandma of Mike & Courtney Poulin, Melanie & Brent Lambert, Jennifer & Chris Sebastian, Ashley & Dennis Andrew, Brittany & Matt Lyons, Courtney Petteplace and Luke Petteplace & Dayna Deans. Great-grandma of sixteen. Sister of Isabel Collison and Eileen & Ken Voisin. Sister-in-law of Doris Struthers and Gwen Caesar. Doris will be lovingly remembered by both the Caesar and Anderson families, her dear friend Rae Thomson of Wingham and his family, as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members. Predeceased by her parents Jim & Bertha Struthers, husband Donald "Dan" Caesar, granddaughter Shelley Inglis, brother Bill Struthers and brother-in-law Clarence Collison. A private graveside service will be held at the Culross-Teeswater Cemetery on Friday, March 27th with Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. A celebration of Doris’ life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Huron Residential Hospice, the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 180 or the Wingham & District Hospital Ladies Auxiliary would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.October 9, 1936 - March 25, 202010/09/193603/25/2020
