Veronica Ann Roschild, age 87, of Renville, passed away at the RenVilla Nursing Home on March 20, 2020. Service arrangements are pending with Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Renville and a memorial service will be planned at a later date. Veronica was born on July 21, 1932, at her home to Frank and Anna (Herdina) Kubesh. She grew up in Olivia and attended country school through the 8th grade. Throughout her life she worked at various jobs including Fingerhut, Gateway (Chatterbox) Café, Earl and Betty’s Café, and Jackpot Junction. Veronica married Maynard Roschild on September 16, 1950. They lived in rural Renville and later moved to the city of Renville in 1972. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Renville. They were blessed with five boys. Veronica enjoyed watching and listening to the Twins and the Vikings. She also enjoyed cooking, baking gardening, and canning. She loved to go camping, fishing, and spending time with her family. Veronica is survived by her husband Maynard, her three boys: Terry (and Terri) , Lester, and Daryl (and Linda) all of Renville; her seven grandchildren: Michael (and Pam) Roschild, Tracy (and Tommy) Johnson, Adam (and Kay) Roschild, Amber (and Bronson) Hoff, Amanda (and Jason) Plotz, Allison (and special friend Jordan Jones), and Zach Roschild (and special friend Krystina Kocher); her nine great grandchildren: Andrew Roschild, Abby Roschild, Eli Svard, Malachai Svard, McKenzie Hoff, Haley Hoff, Aubree Jones, Hayden Jones, and Luke Johnson: her brother Pat Kubesh of Olivia, and other relatives and friends. Veronica was preceded in death by her parents, her two sons, Ronald and Jeffrey, her granddaughter Jacque (Roschild) Svard, and her three sisters: Bessie Zetah, Helen Wolf, Margaret Fink; her three brothers: Louie, Frankie, and Fred Kubesh.
