Robert P. Bliss
Robert P. Bliss, 86, of Seaside Park, NJ, passed away Friday, March 20, 2020. Born in Manhattan, NY, he lived in Bronx, NY before moving to Seaside Park in 1991. Robert worked for the City of New York in the Sanitation Department for over 25 years before retiring. He was a parishioner of St. Catharine of Siena Church, Seaside Park. Robert was predeceased by his son, Robert J. Bliss, in 2004. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Audrey (nee Schelberger), two children Karen McCann of Willow Park, TX and Steven Bliss of Bullville, NY, a brother Joseph, a sister Mary and two grandchildren Megan and Colin McCann. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery will be private. Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 809 Central Ave., Seaside Park, NJ is in charge of the arrangements.
