He was born June 21, 1925 in Marystown to George Lewis and Goldie Lee (Whitley) Peacock. Loyd married Betty Fountain on May 22, 1979 in Cleburne. Loyd is survived by his wife, Betty Ruth Fountain Peacock; children, Larry Peacock and Lisa, Michael Peacock and Elizabeth, Brian Peacock and Jennifer, Elizabeth Taylor, Debbie Fair; grandchildren, Tracy Henderson and Jody, Casey Peacock, Nathaniel Peacock, Lillian Peacock; great grandchildren, Kylie Jackson and Gerad, Jacob Henderson and Dominique, Leo Peacock, Wyatt Peacock; great-great- grandchild, Kinsley Jackson; sister, Nutie Peacock and numerous nieces and nephews. Loyd is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Goldie Peacock; brother, Charles Peacock and daughter, Judy Peacock.
