Kimberly Ann Broam Obituary

A graveside service to celebrate and honor the life of Kimberly Ann Broam will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at the Johnson Cemetery in Shawnee, OK. To respect the current 'Social Distancing' recommendations, a come and go viewing will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service from 1:00~6:00 PM followed by a come and go Wake service at 7:00 PM. (Please note limited seating available) Kimberly Ann Broam peacefully left this world and went to her heavenly home while surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, March 20, 2020, at the age of 54 years old. Kimberly was born on April 12, 1965, in Claremore, OK to her parents, Samuel and Teresa (Wilson) Jones. She struggled with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and many other diagnoses throughout her entire life. Because of these limitations, many people at first would see just a disabled woman in a wheelchair but when they got to know her, they would see a capable, smart, and fearless woman. Kimberly proved this by receiving her high school and college degree. Then marrying the love of her life, Charles Broam, on May 28, 1994. Soon after, Kimberly and Charles had two children, and she became a stay at home mom. Her favorite hobbies to do with her family included playing computer games like candy crush and bubble shooter, telling stories, watching movies like Eddie and the Cruisers with her husband, and watching T.V. Shows like The Walking Dead with her daughter. Being around Kimberly was never boring. She taught many to never judge a book by its cover and to love a person for who they are. She is survived by her husband, Charles Broam. Daughter, Ivy Ralston. Granddaughter, Eileen Ralston. Parents, Sam and Teresa Jones. Siblings, Shelly Hess, Erin Parker, and Dennis Jones. Along with many other loving relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Alyssa Broam and Grandson, Eli Ralston. Arrangements are entrusted to Schaudt Glenpool Funeral Service. Family and friends may send memories and condolences to the family online, www.schaudtfuneralservice.com
