Eric Wayne Barron

Eric W. Barron 47 of Fort Worth TX, formerly of Brownwood, passed away Friday March 20, in Fort Worth, TX. A memorial service will be held Saturday July 31, 2021 at 3pm at Freedom Church located at 1800 S. Hampton Rd. Glenn Heights TX. Eric was born November 29, 1972 in Nacogdoches, TX to parents I.J. Barron, and Linda Lewis. He received his primary education from Brownwood schools graduating from Brownwood High school in 1992. While in High School he was a Brownwood Lions star football player he wore #27. In 1994 he left Brownwood & landed his feet in Weatherford, Tx. In 1996 he met Traci (Kelley) Barron and later married. They spent most of their lives in Weatherford raising their children. He later played semi pro football for the Texas Storms, Weatherford Bullets, and Arlington Panthers, making it to the Championships in 1999. After divorcing, In 2012 he met his fiancé Tonya Stanford Branch. They later moved to Fort Worth where he passed. He attended Greater Faith Community Church in his youth. He was very family oriented, a great Son, Brother, Father and Grandfather. He worked at Jamak in Weatherford as a supervisor for many years, and spent the last 3 years working and being a mentor to many at Vista Sand becoming family to most and previously worked at Palm Harbor Homes for many years. He never met a stranger and was loved by everyone. He was Preceded in death by his grandparents, parents Linda S. Lewis and Isaac J. Barron, son Xzavior, sister LaNora Barron and various Aunts, Uncles and cousins. left to cherish his memories are children Isaac W. Barron, Makesha Barron, Ashli Barron, Eric J. Barron, honorary daughter Makala Stewart; sister Diana Harlmon (George Harlmon) of Grand Prairie, Tx; honorary mother Mariam Barron, girlfriend Tonya Stanford Branch, grandchildren and various Aunts, Uncles, fnieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
