Surrounded by her loving family, Sonia passed away peacefully on March 20, 2020 at the age of 91 years. Sonia will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Peter (Donna), Nettie, and Marie (Denis); grandchildren, Nick, Audra (Sheldon), Joe, Kelsey (Tom), Kaitlin (Brent) and Ted (Tilly); great-grandchildren, Sierra, Kylum, Holden, Pyke, and Afton; brothers, Fred (Mary) and Peter; sister, Shirley (Wayne); brother-in-law, Steve; sister-in-law Shirley; along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Predeceased by her loving husband, Mike; her siblings, Vera, Olga, Helen, Lula, Walter, Nettie, and Tony; and her son-in-law, Lawrence. Due to the current pandemic, a Celebration of Sonia’s Life will take place at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favourite charity.
