Mr. William A. (A.C.) Clark, 80, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital - North Mississippi in Oxford. Mr. Clark was born on October 28, 1939 in Tupelo, MS to the late Lavelle and James Clark. Mr. Clark was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of Union Baptist Church in Sardis, MS and was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Left behind to cherish is memory is his family which includes three daughters, Shari Case (Troy) and Heather Rippee (Ragan), both of Sardis, MS and Kim Arivizu (Vic) of Humboldt, CA; one son, Mike Clark (Lana) of Oxford, NY; two sisters, Sandy Harris (Cullen) of Batesville, MS and Linda Diane Patton of Pope, MS; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Brenda Joyce Huggins Clark. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2020, at 2 pm in Forrest Memorial Cemetery near Batesville, MS with Bro. Rayford Ables officiating. The family will gather with friends on Thursday at 1:30 pm in the cemetery prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Mr. Clark's memory to the American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601. Arrangements are entrusted to Dickins Funeral Home.
