At the Maxville Manor on Friday, March 20, 2020. Edna Isabel MacKinnon of Maxville formerly of Ottawa; age 88 years. Dear sister of Alan MacKinnon (Hélène) of Alexandria and Susan Lajoie (Ron) of Green Valley. Predeceased by one brother Ian MacKinnon (Yolande) and one sister Nancy Macdonald (late John B.). Dear daughter of the late Hugh MacKinnon and the late Hilda MacDonald. Edna is survived by many nieces and nephews. She worked for the Federal Government in Ottawa at the International Joint Commission for 41 years, before retiring in 1993. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). A private visitation and prayer Service will take place in the future. Spring interment will follow in the St. Finnan's Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Maxville Manor Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Edna a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.Obituary
