Edwin Dale Wiggins
Edwin “Dale” Wiggins was a loving husband, father, and grandfather of nine. He was born on October 15, 1940 and raised in Evergreen, Alabama. After graduating from Evergreen High School, he attended Auburn University. He would later join the Alabama National Guard. He moved to PENSACOLA, Florida in the early 1970s. He married his first wife, Sheila Peterson, they had two children, Bart (Gia) Wiggins and Erika Stanford. He would later marry Trish on September 25, 1981 adding a stepdaughter, Rai (Stephen) Halstead and stepson, Sammy (Tina) McMullen to his family. Dale was an entrepreneur and operated four Amoco service stations located around the PENSACOLA area. Dale was a devout Christian; loved watching football and was an avid Auburn fan. He relished attending the Evergreen High School reunions each year. He enjoyed farming, raised cattle, and was a member 4H Club. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt and Emma Wiggins.
