Martha Bond

Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Bond, 78 of Mt. Vernon, passed from this life on Friday, March 20, 2020 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital. She was born at Pine Hill in Rockcastle County, KY on December 1, 1941 the daughter of Walter and Janie Josephine Payne Turner. She was a retired secretary and a member of Livingston Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed quilting and sewing. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Arthur “Ott” Bond; three sons, Johnnie Otis Bond of London, Ronnie Roark of Wildie, and Randell Eugene Bond and wife Tammi of Mt. Vernon; and seven daughters, Renee Lynn Gillium, Rhonda Lucille Smith and husband Mike, Regina Stallsworth and husband Eddie, Katerina Francis Phillips and husband David, and Mary Ann Hutton, all of Mt. Vernon, Laura Ruth Herbes of Baltimore, MD, and Kathy Elaine Tyree of London. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Monroe Turner. In accordance with current state mandates, the funeral services for Mrs. Bond were private.
