Ruth McMullin Tracy Obituary

Ruth McMullin Tracy, 86, the widow of Marshall Tracy, passed away Wednesday morning, December 14, 2016. Mrs. Tracy was born on November 24, 1930 in Madison County, the daughter of the late Virgil and Tabitha Martin McMullin. She was a retired employee of the former Westinghouse Corporation in Richmond and was a member of The First Baptist Church. In addition she was a member of the Bethany Sunday School Class. Survivors include: one daughter: Marsha Tracy Hurst; two grandsons: Mark Starnes (Julie) and Tracy Starnes; two great-grandchildren: Grayson Taylor Starnes and William Marshall Starnes; three sisters: Tabitha Evans, Paula Mauck and Mary Lois Kearns (Donnie); one brother: Tommy McMullin (Betty), as well as several nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister: Kathleen McMullin and a son-in-law: Timm Hurst. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, December 19. 2016 at The First Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Fort officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the church. Pallbearers will be: Russ Tracy, Harold Rome Ray, Jerry Wells, Kevin McMullin, David Mauck and Marty Evans. The members of the Bethany Sunday School Class will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oneida Baptist Institute, 11 Mulberry Street, Oneida, KY 40972 or to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40504 The Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. www.cpcfh.com
